紫菜is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited.

With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. With a strong community focus and core values including safety and integrity, we are proud of our role in community development and our economic contribution to the local Tasmanian industry.

The operation continues to deliver excellent operational performance and employs over 500 employees and contractors who reside in the local region.

Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson

This role is a 7 on / 7 off roster including night shift.

• Fostering a culture of safe work practices and good housekeeping

• Operating and maintaining electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic tools such as drills, grinders, welding and heating equipment and rams and hoists

• Reading mechanical drawings or specifications to understand the scope of work required
