This is a residential permanent position working on an 8/6 roster.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and facilitate a safety culture that fosters continual improvement of systems and contributes to an injury free workplace.

• Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, mining machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Facilitate investigations for incidents, near misses, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventative measures and SMART actions to mitigate the risk or recurrence.

• Suitable degree qualification and complimentary certificates in OHS/WHS or equivalent.
• Trainer and Assessor Cert IV (Desirable)
• A minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance and/or operations role within a metalliferous mining environment.
